So, I’m 30 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I feel it lol. After having a throat infection for 2/3 weeks from the beginning of this trimester, it may have slipped my mind that it was all about to go downhill for the next 10-13 weeks.
These are my top 5 complaints at week 30:
- Return of the first trimester tiredness – I can no longer spend 3 hours out n about without feeling extremely tired by 8pm the same day. Normal everyday tasks like eating are tiresome because my ribs feel squashed n I feel full a quarter way through… I want my normal life back!
- Sleep? What is that… – my sleeping pattern is completely off. I’m hardly ever asleep before 3am and no amount of sleep feels like enough. Add to that, getting the first nights good sleep and then needing the loo in the middle of the night, knowing anywhere outside of your bed is freezing (-___-)… Anyone care to swap?
- My baby does Zumba in a limited space – you’re walking down the road, minding your business, and then you stop walking and clutch your fanny area looking like some weird perverted female. Very sophisticated. Not. Why does my baby think its cool to try and poke her body parts out my fanny before due course? It HURTS! I feel like I’m being stabbed through my cervix and its impossible to walk and be stabbed at the same time!
- My first ever wind/indigestion/help-me-I’m-in-early-labour experience – I can honestly say I’ve never experience anything like this and wish to never experience it again. The pain kept coming and going, I thought I was going to vomit and decided if labour felt like that then i’d need an epidural… Positive thinking right? Lol
- Hunger controlled moods – yes, my moods are controlled by how much food I’ve eaten and whether the food I want is available to me. I’m not ashamed. I know when this is the case and will let anyone know to be wary. I’ve cried because there’s been no sausages and been the rudest bitch because I haven’t eaten enough. I’ve accepted it, everyone else just needs to catch on!

I know some of you can probably relate, whilst some are thinking “what a moany cow!” – I don’t care. My sex drive is like 500x more intense and I’m not getting any *bbm not interested face*go suck lemons elsewhere
