Well, I guess there’s a general about me section on this blog which people do actually read (according to my stats) but I will give you some proper information so you can get to know me a little bit better… Let’s face it – I’m not just a female body producing a child! I was once just a person with nothing of much interest to any of you who follow this blog

I’m Shareen otherwise known as The Real Mummy (although the baby has not yet been born!). My friends call me Reenz and my family call me Shaz. I’m 21, turning 41 at times, 12 at others! Born 1st November, small from birth (4 and half lbs) and never really grown much (5ft 1 at last check). Born, raised & lived in London for all of my life except between 2010-2011 when I lived on the friendly coast of Torquay, Devon. That year alone gave me such a new perspective on life and taught me many lessons, as well as making me realise that I definitely don’t want to be stuck in London for the rest of my days!

I’m a Scorpio if you believe in star signs; have two tattoo’s with hopes of many more (they’re addictive, I can’t help myself); have had only two serious relationships since the age of 14, one of which lasted on and off for nearly 4 years; and have two sisters aged 17 and 29, both have children and I’m now the last in the family to bring in a new member (had to save the best for last obviously).
My feet have touched ground in Paris, Singapore, Bali (Indonesia) & Ibiza and I long to keep visiting new places… Maybe once Shy is older. I’d rather spend a night in with friends and family having a good laugh and drink than out in a club. I love sunshine and hate winter – I don’t belong in England and need to move to a location which is pretty much constant sunshine and heat.
I love the smell of bakeries – there is nothing better than the smell of fresh dough and pastry. I’m a hopeless romantic which is probably why I’m single but I will probably never give up hope so maybe one day, it will benefit me somehow. I’ve had Burger King once in my life as opposed to the numerous occasions I’ve had Mc Ds.
Before you knew me as The Real Mummy, I was just Shareen HD (my initials) – lover of cognac, still seeing my ex-boyfriend, probably had no idea I was about to become a mum, music appreciator, working in William Hill (not a bad job – definitely not a career), and enjoying life as a not so responsible 20 year old.

Now, I am Shareen, writer of A Real Mummy Diary, lover of baby clothes, seeing no one and not even my own belly button, 30 days away from my due date, unemployed, still music appreciator and enjoying life as a soon to be very responsible 21 year old mummy.
